Annuity Rolls, 1870–1966

1870-1966

This series includes copies of receipt rolls for quarterly annuity payments, various special payments, and bonus payments from the sale of oil and gas leases. The rolls created prior to 1929 generally include the payee's name, roll number, relationship to head of family, date of birth, headright shares (for rolls after 1906), and amount received. The printed form on which the rolls were made changed periodically. Rolls created after 1929 generally include only the payee's name, the check number, and, occasionally, the name of the payee's guardian where applicable. There is also a Kaw rental payment schedule for 1904 and one for Osages in 1905.
